A Local Family Company
We're a small family owned plumber and HVAC shop based in Sandy, about 25 minutes over the Point of the Mountain from American Fork. The same small crew shows up every time, and we treat your house like it's ours.
American Fork was settled in 1850 and is one of the oldest towns in Utah County. Some of the homes near Main Street go back generations, but the city has grown fast since the 70s, and the typical house here was built in the mid 90s. So we see both: old galvanized water lines downtown, and builder grade water heaters, furnaces, and AC units that are 25 to 30 years old and running on borrowed time.
American Fork's drinking water is groundwater, part of it from a spring up American Fork Canyon. It's very hard water, and we rarely test a home under 14 grains. That scale ends up in water heaters, tankless units, and faucets.

Our water heater stopped working and we took a chance and called Jaeger to come and take a look. Michael fit in a same day visit to assess the problem which he quickly identified and repaired. We are so happy with the excellent service and would highly recommend this company for all your plumbing, heating and air needs. Thanks.Posted on Google![]()

Had Micheal come out to our commercial building in Lehi to unclog one of our toilets that was flooding when flushed and he came out quick!! Super nice, quick to clear up the problem, and very affordable, he even cleaned one of our drains for free! 😁 We will be using this company again in the future!Posted on Google![]()

I worked with Jaeger for the installation of a Novo water softener at my home. As the approved Novo dealer for the Salt Lake City area, Jaeger made the process very convenient. After I established contact, Michael asked me to send photos of my existing water softener connections rather than scheduling an in-home visit just to provide a quote. Based on the photos, he quickly provided a quote for both the water softener and installation. The pricing was reasonable, especially since my home already had professionally installed water softener connections. On the scheduled installation date, Michael arrived on time, completed the installation in about an hour, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Overall, I am satisfied with the service Jaeger provided and would recommend them for similar water softener installations.Posted on Google![]()

Schedule OnlineAmerican Fork Plumbing, Heating & Air FAQs
How much does a service call cost in American Fork?
$39 on weekdays from 9 to 5, and it goes toward the repair. $99 after hours, on weekends and holidays, with no added charge for the drive. The repair price is in writing first.
Is American Fork outside your service area?
No. We're over the Point of the Mountain in Utah County every week, and American Fork is about 25 minutes from our shop. You pay the same as a Sandy customer.
Is American Fork water hard?
Very. American Fork's drinking water is groundwater, part of it from a spring up the canyon, and we rarely test a home under 14 grains per gallon. That builds scale in water heaters and tankless units fast, so a yearly flush or a softener helps a lot.
My house is from the 90s. What usually goes first?
The water heater, if it's never been replaced, then the furnace and AC. Builder grade equipment from the 90s is 25 to 30 years old now. We'll check it all on one visit and tell you honestly what still has life in it and what doesn't.
My older home has galvanized pipe. Should I replace it?
Not always right away, but keep an eye on it. Galvanized rusts from the inside, so you'll see low pressure, rusty water, or leaks at the joints. We can tell you if it's a now problem or a someday problem, and we replace main water lines too.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Utah licensed (Lic #14278324-5501), bonded, insured, 14 years in the trade, and we work Utah County every week.
