How much does emergency furnace repair cost?
Most common repairs run $105 to $450, like a flame sensor, igniter, or capacitor. Bigger parts like a blower motor, gas valve, or control board run $450 to $1,900. You get the exact price in writing before any work starts.
Why is my furnace blowing cold air?
Usually a dirty flame sensor or a failed igniter, so the burners won't stay lit while the fan keeps running. It can also be a thermostat setting or a clogged filter. We find the exact cause and fix it.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Leave the house right away and don't flip any switches. Call Enbridge Gas or 911 from outside. A gas smell is an emergency, not a service call.
Is it safe to run my furnace if the carbon monoxide alarm went off?
No. Get everyone out, call 911, and have the furnace checked before running it again. A cracked heat exchanger is one cause we check for.
Should I repair or replace my furnace?
