A Local Family Company
We're a small family owned plumber and HVAC shop based in Sandy, right next door to Midvale. The same small crew shows up every time, and we treat your house like it's ours.
Midvale grew up as a railroad and mining town and became a city in 1909. The houses near Main Street are some of the oldest in the valley, and most of the rest went up in the 60s and 70s. Half the homes in town were built before about 1976, so we see a lot of original drain lines, tired shutoff valves, and gas furnaces on their second or third swap. We'll tell you straight what's worth fixing.
Midvale pumps about half its water from three city wells and buys the rest from Jordan Valley Water. It's very hard water. Estimates for the 84047 zip run around 25 grains, and we rarely test a home in the valley under 14. That scale ends up in water heaters, tankless units, and faucets.

Had Micheal come out to our commercial building in Lehi to unclog one of our toilets that was flooding when flushed and he came out quick!! Super nice, quick to clear up the problem, and very affordable, he even cleaned one of our drains for free! 😁 We will be using this company again in the future!Posted on Google![]()

I worked with Jaeger for the installation of a Novo water softener at my home. As the approved Novo dealer for the Salt Lake City area, Jaeger made the process very convenient. After I established contact, Michael asked me to send photos of my existing water softener connections rather than scheduling an in-home visit just to provide a quote. Based on the photos, he quickly provided a quote for both the water softener and installation. The pricing was reasonable, especially since my home already had professionally installed water softener connections. On the scheduled installation date, Michael arrived on time, completed the installation in about an hour, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Overall, I am satisfied with the service Jaeger provided and would recommend them for similar water softener installations.Posted on Google![]()

How much does a service call cost in Midvale?
Weekday visits, 9 to 5, are $39, and that goes toward the repair. After hours, weekends and holidays are $99. You'll have the repair price in writing before we touch anything.
How fast can you get to Midvale?
We're based in Sandy, right next door, so Midvale is one of the quickest drives we have. Same day is often possible, depending on the schedule that day.
Is Midvale water hard?
Very. Midvale gets about half its water from city wells and the rest from Jordan Valley Water. Estimates for the 84047 zip put it around 25 grains per gallon, and we rarely test a home in the valley under 14. That builds scale in water heaters and tankless units fast, so a yearly flush or a softener helps a lot.
My water heater is in a closet in my townhome. Can you replace it?
Yes. A lot of Midvale townhomes and condos have the water heater in a tight closet, sometimes upstairs. We bring the right size tank, add a drain pan where it's needed, and make sure the venting and expansion tank are up to code.
My house was built in the 60s or 70s. What should I keep an eye on?
The water heater, the shutoff valves under sinks and toilets, and the main drain line. Older clay or cast iron drains can crack or collect roots, and 50 year old valves often won't fully shut off. We'll check it on one visit and tell you what's fine and what's getting close.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Our Utah license is #14278324-5501, and we're bonded and insured with 14 years of experience.
